Kristin Irwin, daughter of Mark and Deanna Irwin, of Springhill, Tenn., married Spencer Garrett Womble, son of Gay and Melody (Bock) Womble, of Tallassee, Tenn. on June 22, 2019, at 12 noon at the groom’s parents’ home. After the wedding, a luncheon was held at the groom’s family home in Tallassee, followed by an evening dinner and reception at the Central Collective in Knoxville.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor of science in Environmental Science and a master’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. She currently works as a project coordinator for the Tennessee CoOp Fisheries Research Unit.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor of science in Environmental Science with a minor in watershed studies and also earned a master’s degree in Biology from Tennessee Tech University. He is currently a Tennessee Tech University PhD candidate in Environmental Science with a Biology concentration.
Chase Womble, brother of the groom, of Cookeville, and Ashley Irwin, twin sister of the bride, of Spring Hill, assisted with the ring ceremony. Jessica Irwin, sister of the bride, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., created the unity family tree artwork for friends and family to sign.
The couples wedding trip was to Vilano Beach in Saint Augustine, Fla. They reside in Cookeville, Tenn.
