Amber Nichole Potter, daughter of Don and Linda Potter, of Alcoa, married Hunter Gehron Tidwell, son of Mike and Annette Tidwell, of Maryville, on July 6, 2019, at Butler’s Farm in Friendsville. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Chuck O’Connor.

The bride graduated from Alcoa High School in 2014 and Maryville College in 2018. She is employed by The Daily Times.

The groom graduated from Alcoa High School in 2014 and attended Darton State College and Austin Peay State University. He is employed at DENSO.

The bride was escorted by her father. Michaela (Palonis) McBrayer, of Maryville, served as the bride’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Taylor Roberts, of Maryville, Kendra Richardson, of Rockford, Nicole Thomas, of Maryville and Hayley Murphy, of Alcoa.

Michael Busse, of Clarksville, served as the groom’s best man. Groomsmen were Walker Murphy, of Maryville, Sam Lopez, of Munford, Michael Thomas, of Maryville and Johnathan Harris, of Alcoa.

Jaxon Richardson, of Rockford, served as the flower girl. Carson Murphy and Andre Harris, both of Alcoa, served as the ring bearers.

The couple’s wedding trip was to Atlanta, Georgia. The newlyweds reside in Maryville.
