Summer vacation passed so fast. For part of my vacation, I got to visit many historical places in Germany. But, now is the time to focus on our school year. Open house was held Sept. 5. During this time, parents got to visit with teachers, and test scores were distributed and discussed.

Now is the time for everyone to buy a yearbook. Students always look forward to getting them in the spring. As always, lots of memories of this year will be included.

Families are encouraged to watch the Spirit Week video which highlights what Greenback is about. This video is displayed on the school website.

Karrah Bennett has received a grant to add a new automatic pottery wheel and supplies to her art program. The Tribe, a group of students who shows Greenback spirit, is collecting can goods for Greenback Food Pantry.

Tuesday, Oct. 1, will be an ACT retake for seniors.
