Work to relocate power lines over Alcoa Highway at Airport Hotel Drive has been rescheduled for Thursday night, Aug. 15, because of equipment issues, the Tennessee Department of Transportation announced in a press release.

The lane closures will be between 8:30-9 p.m. The work will require a closure of Alcoa Highway for 10 to 15 minutes while each line is erected. Crews will allow traffic to fully clear after each closure.

The entire operation will take two and a half to three hours, TDOT estimated.
