Blount County’s annual Vendor Day will take place from 9-11 a.m. Nov. 20 at the Blount County Courthouse in Maryville.

Current and prospective government vendors can attend the event to gain an understanding of the county’s process of establishing and securing vendors.

“This Vendor Day is a great opportunity for businesses to get in front of our Purchasing Department to continue or even begin forming what we hope will be a long-lasting relationship with Blount County government,” Blount County Mayor Ed Mitchell said.

Blount County’s purchasing agent, Katie Kerr, and the rest of the purchasing staff as well as several county departments will be available with the county’s annual bid list, answers to vendor questions and potential vending opportunities.

Vendors not registered to do business with Blount County should bring a current W-9 form with them for registration.

“We want everyone to have an opportunity to do business with Blount County,” Mitchell said.

The event will take place in Room 315 of the Blount County Courthouse, 385 Court St.
