Kingdom Dental Ministry, hosted by Klein Dental Arts, is holding its second free dental day in Blount County from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.

Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis at the clinic, 1905 W. Broadway Ave., Maryville. There are no pre-registrations or appointments, so residents are asked not to call.

Children and adults will receive a free cleaning. Adults can receive either one complimentary filling or extraction.

Anyone in the community and surrounding area is welcome to attend the event. No proof of income or lack of insurance is necessary; participants just have show up.

Participants will wait outside the office until their number is called for treatment, so dress appropriately for the weather. Everyone is asked to stay on the property during the wait, which could take several hours, so it is advised that folding chairs, food and drink and other items to help pass the time be brought to the event. A one page registration form will be filled out on-site.

Parking can be congested, so carpooling is encouraged. Donations from community businesses and organizations are appreciated, particularly food and drinks for the volunteers helping to run the event, the organization said.

The services are provided by Drs. Todd Klein and Tyer Klein and the team from Klein Dental Arts.
