The Regional/Municipal Planning Commission will hold its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, in the municipal building’s commission chambers.

The agenda includes (i) requests for preliminary plat approvals for (a) plat nine lots for a townhome development, 828 McCammon Ave. (Ross Property); (ii) miscellaneous requests for (a) annexation of Tax ID 003O A 022.00, located on Rivertrace Boulevard (Joe and Julie Brannum/by owners’ request); (b) zoning assignment of tax ID 003O A 022.00, located on Rivertrace Boulevard (Joe and Julie Brannum/by owners’ request), and (c) rezoning of a portion of tax ID 008 164.01, located on Central Park Boulevard from light industrial district “F” to general business district “E” (Steve Cable and Johnny Shore property); (iii) site plan approvals for (a) construction of internal private roads, Tesla Boulevard (Springbrook Farm Development); (b) site improvements for a Fairfield Inn & Suites, Tesla Boulevard (Springbrook Farm Development); (c) site improvements for eight townhomes, 828 McCammon Ave (Ross Property); (d) revision to Weigel’s layout, 1150 Hunter Crossing Drive (Weigel Stores Inc.); (e) site improvements for a Student Union Center and Upper School, 425 Alcoa Trail (Clayton-Bradley Academy); (f) site improvements for a dumpster enclosure, Cirrus Landing Drive (Cirrus Aircraft); (g) site improvements for an open air press box at the football stadium, 1205 Lodge Street (Alcoa City Schools).

A briefing on these items will be held at 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 14, in the municipal building.
