Keep Blount Beautiful, Little River Watershed Association, Blount County Soil Conservation District and the city of Alcoa are seeking volunteers to help clean up a section of Pistol Creek on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. until noon.

The section to be cleaned is along the Alcoa Greenway. Volunteers are asked to park at the Alcoa Little League Park at 233 N. Wright Road.

Volunteers are advised to wear waterproof footwear. Gloves and trash bags will be provided for the cleanup.

Keep Blount Beautiful is a nonprofit whose mission is to encourage Blount County residents to beautify their communities.
