Dear Editor:

Sept. 23 was a day that we will never forget here in the town of Louisville,.

A family business was tragically destroyed and the safety of our community literally lay in the hands of the first responders and fire departments from six different counties including the air base and airport.

The swift action of all emergency personnel is the only reason the fire remained in control. There were firefighters and emergency personnel who remained on our properties four solid days and nights.

There are not enough words to express the gratitude that we feel for all of the departments involved. The commitment, knowledge and compassion that was shown to our family and the community will never be forgotten.

God bless everyone involved from the front lines to the personnel behind the scenes.
