• Douglas Bryan Boruff, 50, Mentor Road, Louisville, was arrested by Blount County Sheriff’s deputies at 6:45 a.m. Jan. 6 and charged with violation of sex offender registration requirements and three counts of violation of probation. He was being held without bond pending a 1:30 p.m. hearing Jan. 13 in Blount County General Sessions Court.

• Crystal Daisy Belt, 40, Kingston, was arrested by Blount County Sheriff’s deputies at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 6 and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She was released on a $2,000 bond pending a 9 a.m. hearing Jan. 11 in Blount County General Sessions Court.

• Adam Lee Delp Jr., 23, was arrested by Blount County Sheriff’s deputies at 4:37 p.m. Jan. 6 and charged with evading arrest and two counts of violation of probation. He was being held without bond pending 1:30 p.m. hearings Jan. 11 and 13 in Blount County General Sessions Court.

Maryville

• An asset protection employee at Target, 800 Watkins Road, Maryville, reported at 4:19 p.m. Jan. 5 that the store was able to identify a woman who on Oct. 16, 2020, skip-scanned a $499.99 breast pump.

Blount County

• Kandy M. Knight, Karina Circle, Maryville, reported at 2:47 p.m. Jan. 6 that someone stole a check from her and attempted to cash it at ORNL Federal Credit Union, 103 Hamilton Crossing Drive, Alcoa.

Citations

• Sandra Nicole Riden, 37, Hamilton Street, Alcoa, was cited by Alcoa Police officers at 8:32 p.m. Jan. 3 and charged with simple possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. During a search of a vehicle driven by Riden, officers said they found a glass meth pipe with residue, 0.4 grams of methamphetamine and two snort straws, an incident report states.

• Deborah Sue Leann Cable, 30, Silverbell Drive, Maryville, was cited by Alcoa Police officers at 10:53 p.m. Jan. 3 and charged with simple possession of methamphetamine. During a search of a vehicle in which Cable was a passenger, officers found a small amount of meth, and Cable admitted it was hers, an incident report states.

• Larry Scott Dockery, 46, East Old Topside Road, Louisville, was cited by Alcoa Police officers at 7:06 p.m. Jan. 4 and charged with simple possession of methamphetamine. While Dockery was being arrested on warrants, officers found two small bags of meth in his left jacket pocket, an incident report states.

• Ashley Adcox, 31, Franklin Estates Lane, Maryville, was cited by Maryville Police officers at 10:19 a.m. Jan. 6 and charged with theft. A loss prevention employee at Walmart, 2410 Highway 411 S., Maryville, reported that Adcox, who was an employee at the store, took three employee gift cards totaling $60 without permission and didn’t pay for them, an incident report states. Adcox admitted she took the gift cards without permission, and she was terminated from her position with Walmart, the report states.

Vandalism

Maryville

• Carl G. West, Palma Way, Maryville, reported at 5:40 p.m. Jan. 4 that someone shattered the left rear window and rear windshield of his 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck. The total value of the damages was $460.

• A 54-year-old woman reported at 12:25 p.m. Jan. 3 that her 55-year-old ex-boyfriend threw furniture around her house, broke her door frame and trim, pushed her and broke her cellphone. The total value of the damage was $350.
