Harriman (4-4) at Greenback (7-0)

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m.

Players to watch: Harriman wide receiver Giovanni Cromwell and Greenback running back Jalen McCord

Need to know: Greenback notched a statement win last week when the Cherokees rolled past Coalfield 49-0. McCord rushed a team-high nine times for 60 yards and a touchdown a week after transferring from Alcoa. McCord’s presence adds another dimension to an already dynamic offense that boasts quarterback Bryce Hanley. Hanley completed 14 of his 16 pass attempts for 244 yards and three touchdowns against Coalfield. All of those touchdown passes went to wide receiver Seth Riddle. Harriman, on the other hand, has lost its last three games. The Blue Devils will look to athletic wide out Cromwell to spark their offense. Cromwell has a history of clutch plays, such as his game-winning touchdown catch on the final play of Harriman’s season opener against Kingston. Down 21-18, Cromwell pulled down the ball after it bounced off two Kingston defenders and carried it to the end zone for a 24-21 victory.

Friendship Christian (5-2) at The King’s Academy (0-7)

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m.

Players to watch: Friendship Christian quarterback Braden Reece and TKA quarterback Drew Blair

Need to know: While Friendship Christian is coming to Seymour having won its last three games, the Lions are still looking for their first victory. Blair leads TKA’s offense. He completed 19 of 27 pass attempts for 188 yards with an interception in the Lions’ 35-20 loss to Grace Baptist-Chattanooga last week. The Commanders are coming off their bye week and will count on Reece to extend their winning streak.
