Nick Morgan scored the game's lone goal as University of Lynchburg's men's soccer team bested Maryville College, 1-0, Saturday evening to earn Hornets head coach Chris Yeager his 200th career victory and the first of the 2019 season.

Morgan corralled Ayat Mohamed's pass in the box and finished in the 28th minute to put the Hornets ahead for good.

Lynchburg (1-1) had opportunities to add on as they outshot the Scots (2-1), 10-6, but Maryville goalkeeper Mykal Manfred controlled the box well to keep his team in the hunt.

Hornets goalkeeper Kyle Gallagher and the Lynchburg defense held fast as well, cementing the junior's first-career shutout.

Morgan recorded two shots on the day, while Lynchburg junior Abibi Osman launched a game-high three shots.
