Maryville High School graduate Caylan Arnold plans to transfer from the Tennessee softball team according to a report from the Knoxville News Sentinel released on Sunday night.

Arnold has entered her name into the NCAA transfer portal. She told the News Sentinel that she plans to transfer outside of the SEC so she can play immediately. Arnold will have one season of eligibility remaining.

She had an 11-8 record this season and a 2.26 ERA to go with 102 strikeouts and 39 walks in 102 innings.

Her final outing was one of her best. She pitched a complete game in a 3-2 nine-inning victory over Florida in the second game of the teams' Super Regional in Gainesville on May 25. The Vols were eliminated in the decisive game the next day.

In three seasons with Tennessee, Arnold compiled a 2.15 ERA with a record of 57-23. She threw 22 complete games, including six shutouts. In 475 2/3 innings pitched she struck out 473 and walked 169.
