Two Maryville College women athletes were named Players of the Week by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association.

Junior soccer player Shannon Reagan and junior volleyball player Brianne Sidner picked up the honors for their performances last week.

Sidner averaged 11.3 kills and 16 digs in three matches and had four aces and five blocks. Those numbers were aided by her strong performance in a win over previously undefeated Huntingdon in which she had 14 digs, 11 kills and three aces.

Reagan had two goals and one assist in a 9-0 win over Wesleyan College (Ga.). She has been a spark in the attack that has carried the Scots to an undefeated USA South Conference record.
